Immigrant Centre Manitoba Inc.

Settlement services; English language support; employment services; driver education; nutrition; citizenship classes; translation / interpretation. 100 Adelaide St, Winnipeg.

CHAI Immigrant Centre Inc.

Welcomes all adult newcomers; social, language, life-skills supports; connecting with community; helps with making friends, English practice etc.

Newcomer Literacy Initiative (IRCOM)

Adult EAL / literacy classes especially for those who can't access mainstream programs due to childcare / mobility; child-friendly and community-based.

Entry Program

Settlement orientation: learning about living in Manitoba including health, laws, employment, education. Weekly or express formats.

Newcomer Employment Hub Child Care Project

Subsidized childcare spaces for newcomer families participating in employment training / job search or newly employed. Helps remove childcare barriers.

YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg — LINC

Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada. English classes for adults, including those with child care needs; helps improve English for daily life and integration.

Family Dynamics — Community Settlement Program
